Associate Director Fire Safety Engineering

Prabin has over 7 years of experience specialising in fire safety engineering, CFD/evacuation modelling, structural fire engineering and radiation analysis. He comes from a Civil/Structural Engineering background with a Master of Science in Fire Safety Engineering. He has undertaken research for his Masters analysing the impact of stack effect on smoke ventilation system and undertook research on performance of green roof system for his Bachelors. He aims to lead the foresight research within the business and contributes towards overall R&D strategies.

He has experience leading major projects within the UK. He has worked on a wide range of complex projects throughout the UK including residential, mixed use developments, offices, hotels, shopping centers and educational premises. His area of expertise involves producing fire strategies through all RIBA Stages, providing fire engineering input at all RIBA stages and undertaking complex engineering studies utilising tools such as computational fluid dynamics, zone modelling and fire engineering calculations. Overall, he is a seasoned project leader working through all seven RIBA stages and a proven negotiator with various key stakeholders at all levels.
